1776 Strategies SMS Privacy Policy

1776 Strategies LLC uses SMS messaging to coordinate internal field operations for staff and contractors assigned to the EVC field operations program. This policy explains what information is used for SMS, how it is used, and how recipients can opt out.
Information We Collect
For SMS operations, 1776 Strategies may collect and use:
- Name
- Mobile phone number
- Work role or assignment
- Shift date, time, and location
- Operational replies sent by SMS
- Delivery, opt-out, and support logs
1776 Strategies does not ask recipients to send sensitive personal information, medical information, financial information, Social Security numbers, or government ID numbers by SMS.
How We Use SMS Information
1776 Strategies uses SMS information for operational coordination, including:
- Shift reminders and check-ins
- Field support
- Tablet distribution and return logistics
- Registration packet closeout
- Quality-control follow-up
- Issue resolution and administrative support
Messages are not sent to the public. Messages are not used for marketing, lead generation, fundraising, public advocacy, political outreach, affiliate marketing, or promotional campaigns.
Sharing
1776 Strategies does not sell SMS opt-in information, mobile phone numbers, or SMS consent records.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.
SMS opt-in information, mobile phone numbers, and messaging consent are used only for the 1776 Strategies/EVC internal field operations SMS program described in this policy.
1776 Strategies may share limited information with service providers that help deliver, secure, or log SMS communications, such as telecommunications and software providers. These providers may use the information only to provide services to 1776 Strategies.
1776 Strategies may disclose information if required by law, regulation, subpoena, court order, carrier compliance process, or to protect the security and integrity of its operations.
Message Choices
Recipients can reply STOP to opt out of SMS messages. Recipients can reply HELP for support.
Opting out of SMS may limit 1776 Strategies' ability to coordinate work assignments by text, but recipients may still receive necessary non-SMS communications through other approved channels.
Message Frequency and Costs
Message frequency varies based on assigned shifts and operational needs. During active field operations, recipients may receive multiple messages per shift.
Message and data rates may apply. 1776 Strategies does not charge recipients for SMS messages, but carrier charges may apply.
Data Retention
1776 Strategies keeps SMS records as needed for operational, payroll, compliance, audit, and dispute-resolution purposes.
